COTU-K and PANAF Shop Stewards Training

A joint project by COTU (K) and PANAF To train shop stewards held at Litein, Kericho County this week starting from 15th to 19th January 2018.
They were trained on Labour Laws, Workers rights, communication and conflict resolution to support their roles as workers representatives. The Facilitators were, Sis. Monica Musau – COTU (K), Bro. Norbert Oloo and Sis. Irene Nyambura – KPAWU.

The training is aimed at empowering the shop stewards and emphasize their roles as:-

a) Representatives of the union at company level.
b) Communication channels between workers, unions and employers
c) Reporting individual disputes
d) Organizing members, among others.
