The Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU-K) Secretary General Bro. Francis Atwoli paid a courtesy call to the Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court of Kenya at the Supreme Court Building. Bro. Atwoli was accompanied by COTU (K) Chairman General Bro. Rajabu Mwondi, his 1st and 2nd Assistants Chairpersons Ernest Nadome and Carol Rutto and Bro. Isaiah Kubai who is also an Executive Board Member of COTU (K). Also in attendance was the Secretary General’s Personal Assistance Bro. Adams Sospeter Barasa and COTU (K) Legal Officer Bro. Charles Omanga.

During the meeting, the giant umbrella body with over 2 million membership mentioned the to the Chief justice some of the challenges faced by workers when dealing the industrial courts and suggested Key reforms issues the CJ should consider in agenda while at the helm of Kenya’s Judiciary.  The Chief Justice handed a copy his Vision and Blue Print Booklet to the Secretary General and promised to give attention to issues and suggestions raised by the trade unionists.
