The consultative meeting centred on the future of the labour movement on the continent as well as discussions on Kenya’s trade union involvement and cooperation with the USA labour movement under theAmerican Federation of Labour and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL–CIO).
Sister McKenzie expressed her commitment on behalf of American Centre for International Labour Solidarity (ACILS) to continue working closely with COTU-K adding that COTU-K as one of the strongest Trade Union on the continentshould therefore continue taking a leading role on all issues affecting the workers both in the region and in the continent.
