COTU-K Top Officials pay a courtesy call on the Chairman Commissioners of IEBC

COTU-K Secretary General Bro. Francis Atwoli accompanied by top officials and a section of the the COTU-K Executive Board Members when they paid a courtesy call on the Chairman of the IEBC Mr. Wafula Chebukati together with his fellow Commissioners at the IEBC Office’s this morning.

Atwoli sought the assurance of the commission on delivering a free, fair and credible election to Kenyans saying failure to do so its workers, women and children who will suffer the consequences. The Commission and the Chairman reiterated the Commission’s commitment to delivering on their mandate.

In his remarks the IEBC Chairman reassured the COTU-K Leadership that the commission ready for the polls and everything in order. He said that the death of IEBC ICT Director Mr. Msando had dealt IEBC a blow due to his skills and experience, however he assured all will be well since Mr. Msando was a great team leader and had trained many in his team who will be able to deliver in the coming elections.
