Economic Paper For January 2016

The Central Organization of Trade Unions, COTU (K) continues to uphold its valued support for fair representation of workers, protection and enhancement of workers’ rights as well as promotion of creation of decent work for workers in Kenya and beyond. Our engagement in the labour market has prompted the government and other key stake holders in the labour industry to improve the terms and conditions of work. This has led to better labour market outcomes amidst several challenges that workers continue to face.
