OATUU 43rd General Council in Cairo Egypt.

The 43rd session of the General Council of the Organisation of African Trade Unity (OATUU) has begun in Cairo, Egypt at the Tulip Golden Plaza Hotel. In attendance is the Secretary General Dr. Francis Atwoli who is also the President of the Organization. The session has drawn participants from across Africa, as well as observers from regional and International Organizations, who have congregated to tackle the theme of this year’s conference, ‘Social Protection for Lasting and Inclusive Development in Africa is Attainable’.

The General Council meeting will follow a 2-day joint conference between OATUU and ACTRAV on social protection and related issues.
