Stop Infections at Workplace

With more Kenyans turning Positive to COVID-19 tests the Central Organization of Trade Union in Kenya is focusing on reducing new infections at work places.

In July 18th 2020, Kenya recorded the highest number ever of CoVid-19 positive cases at 688, from a sample size of 4,522 tested in the last 24 hours. The announcement was made by the Cabinet Secretary (CS) for Health, Senator Mutahi Kagwe who projects that the numbers are likely to keep going high.

This calls for all workers to be more responsible and stop the spread of Covid-19 at the work places. This is through observing the Occupational Safety and Health Measures such as sanitizing, regularly washing hands, wearing Personal Protective equipment such as face masks and observing social distance.

Further, adhering to the guidelines issued by the ministry of Health will reduce the new infections both at work place and at Home.
