International Domestic Workers Day
The Central Organization of Trade Unions in Kenya in collaboration with Kenya Union of Domestic, Hotels, Educational Institutions, Hospitals and Allied workers KUDHEIHA and International Domestic Workers Federation IDWFED distributed food and Personal Protective Equipment PPEs to domestic workers at the COTU(K) headquarters today. Further, COTU (K) Officials and staff sensitized the workers about Covid-19 and their labour rights. The safety of domestic workers is very critical in this period.
