International Womens Day

COTU (K) today joined the rest of the world in commemorating international womens day. Held at solidarity building and led by COTU (K) Treasurer General Rebecca Nyathagora, the event focused on 2025 international womens day theme “Accelerate Action” which emphasizes the urgency of advancing gender equality. COTU(K) has always been vocal in agitating and advocating for the rights of working women to ensure equity because we believe investing in women is accelerating progress.
By supporting initiatives that empower women and challenge discrimination, we will collectively accelerate the journey towards a more equitable world. Together, lets Accelerate Action for gender equality.
