RE: MESSAGE OF PROSPERITY AND SUCCESS IN 2016

Dear His Excellency,

As the year ends today, the Central Organization of Trade Unions, COTU (K) on behalf of the entire Kenyan workforce takes this opportunity to congratulate you for your 2015 stewardship of the country despite the difficult circumstances under which you have had to discharge your duties as the country’s Chief Executive during which you have remained steadfast and expressed total commitment and hope in the eyes of all Kenyans.

COTU (K) applauds you for this good work and joins the rest of the Kenyans of goodwill in assuring you of our support to you in your efforts to not only fight but eradicate the ills that lie ahead to confront our country and as we equally appreciate you for the changes you have so far put in place to strengthen your administration and government, we promise to stand with you in the new year to the benefit of not only workers but the entire Kenyan population whose hope for a secure nation and a better economy is not lost to all of us.

No doubt, the challenges ahead remain enormous and as the country prepares to usher in a new year with new resolutions, the Kenyan workers’ prayer will be for God to give you and your government the courage and wisdom to steer this great nation to even greater heights as we wish you and your family a happy and prosperous 2016.
