Last Friday 29th April 2016, President Uhuru Kenyatta Invited the Secretary General of the Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU-K) to honour and congratulate him for being awarded the National Order of Merit by the Algeria President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

This department is main mandate is to Educate workers on their rights and responsibilities, Labour Laws. Under gender and equality the department’s role is to craft and implement programmes and activities that promote women empowerment and gender equality among all workers in their day-to-day work, be it in their working places, homes or the community.
