Solidarity Center AFL-CIO Officials Pay a Courtesy Call to COTU-K

A delegation of youth trade unionists from USA, Solidarity Center AFL-CIO paid a courtesy call to COTU-K at its Solidarity Building office. The Delegation from Solidarity Center included; Sarah McKenzie – TUS Director Solidarity Center, Silvia Fabela – AFC-CIO, Philipe Allen – CBTU, Stailey Jerome Styles IV and Hanad Mohamud – Solidarity Center AFLO CIO.

The COTU-K team hosting the delegation was led by Bro. Boniface Kavuvi an Executive Board Member of COTU-K and the General Secretary of Kenya Union of Commercial, Food & Allied Workers and it included the COTU-K youth comittee Chairperson Ms. Jayne Njoki and other youth officials.
In Africa, the Solidarity Center seeks to empower the labor movement and promote worker rights by organizing workers and strengthening their voice at the bargaining table; protecting their rights on the job and ending the scourge of child labor, forced labor and human trafficking.
