Bro. Atwoli Hosts EATUC SUMMIT Delegates to a Lavish Dinner at His Ildamat Home
The 10th EATUC Summit came to a close on Wednesday 31st August 2016, Bro. Atwoli hosted all the delegates to a lavish dinner at his Ildamat Home. Tacked in the beautiful, scenic and serene Kajiado County, the home provided a wonderful setting to the delegates to unwind after a two day conference that was characterized by tough but fruitful deliberations.
The over 50 delegates drawn from the five member countries of East Africa, as well as partners and dignitaries from other sub regions in Africa were treated to delicious Continental and Kenyan Cuisine that included mouth-watering ‘Nyama Choma’ which they lusciously washed down with a variety of drinks.
The dinner also served as a farewell and thanksgiving moment from The COTU-K Secretary General to the trade unionists from East Africa, given that he has handed over his position as the chairman of EATUC after 10 years of service to Brother Eric Manzi from CESTRAR Rwanda. No doubt Bro. Manzi has an enormous challenge in taking over from his predecessor, a task that he promised to embrace wholeheartedly in his acceptance speech.
