TRIBUTE TO MAMA LUCY MUTHONI KIBAKI, EGH
The Central Organisation of Trade Unions, COTU (K) on behalf of the entire Kenyan workforce, joins the rest of Kenyans in paying special tribute to the late Mama Lucy Muthoni Kibaki, our immediate former First Lady of the Republic of Kenya.
The late Mama Lucy was a mother of conciliation and focus; highly principled and a First Lady who lived with a free and independent mind;a virtuous woman, devoted mother and conciliator whose wisdom grew peace in this country and fostered a cordial working relationship between the Kenyan workers and the government led by herhusband HisExcellency the former President MwaiKibaki whom we send our deepest condolences.
As a mother of the nation, the late Mama Lucy‘s care of her family was the personification of a Proverbs 31 woman (Proverbs 31:10-12,28).
May her soul Rest in Eternal Peace.
